While cows produced milk and meat on this farm, they also generated large amounts of methane gas. To combat this issue, Frank Murphy created vents in the ceilings of the barns, including this Milking Parlor, to let the gas out through the rooves. Today we are hoping to refurbish this space to allow guests and tours entrance in the future.
